Services for Mack Albert McQuarn will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at New Saint Mark Baptist Church, 1516 Reed St Alexandria with the Rev. Jerome Elmore, officiating. Burial will be in McNutt Hill Cemetery, Boyce.
Mr. McQuarn, 62, passed away on Sunday August 3, 2008 in Tioga Manor Nursing Home.
He was born on September 26, 1945 in Boyce.
Preceded in death by his parents Israel and Ethel Williams McQuarn and two brothers Henry Stewart and James Hunter.
Survivors include his three daughters Greta and Mary McQuarn and Latoya Gaines; two sons Mack A. McQuarn, Jr and Keshar Sanders; one sister, Lois Marie Jones; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call on Saturday from 8:30am until service time at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Gonzaque-Williams Mortuary “Where Healing Begins”.

Craig Darnell Allen
Services for Craig Allen will be Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at Oak Island Cemetery under the direction of Progressive Funeral Home.
Mr. Allen, age 37, died on Friday, July 26, 2008 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
His daughter, Okemah Allen and maternal grandparents, Leroy and Ener Mae Burton Cannon, Sr. preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Jonathan (Diane) of San Antonio, Texas; his mother, Gloria Marie Cannon Allen of Alexandria; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Elaine Allen of Alexandria; four sisters, Kayla Marie and Ener Shonte Cannon both of Alexandria, Alexandra and Mariah Allen both of San Antonio, Texas and a host of relatives and friends.
Friends may view after 8 a.m. Friday at the church.
